REQUIRED PRE-PURCHASE READING FOR TREELESS BUYERS:
We do not assume risk of any shipping costs for factors/concerns not raised by the customer prior to sale.  We do our best to provide all facts relevant to requirements presented to us prior to sale and will not be held accountable due to a customers failure to evaluate our products suitably for each of their requirements. We reserve the right to cancel any orders without proper fitting consultations prior to shipping.

TREELESS SADDLE ATTRIBUTES - PROPER OWNER OUTLOOK



Item Condition:
All Items are brand new unless otherwise High-lighted in our online detail information.  All Leather Saddlery items sold are subject to variations in grains & workmanship, including an occasional glue drop, loose thread, etc.  Pictures are randomly selected and a good indicator of product quality.  Close-up pre-purchase picture requests are recommended if you are seeking perfection in our suede treeless models.  Items are filled in order of purchase.  Any replacement requests will require additional shipping charges.


Saddlery Store Shipping:
Most saddle orders will ship within 2 days - we reserve the right to verify saddle appropriateness for your horse prior to shipping.  All other items will usually ship next day for orders placed before 6 PM PST.  Items will ship by UPS Ground insured unless specified by customer as 2nd or 3rd day UPS delivery.  These items will ship directly from San Diego, CA.  UPS shipping to P.O. Boxes is not possible.  Please specify a shipping address without P.O. Box.
Charges are calculated based on our use of the largest single box required for shipping.  We reserve the right to cancel an order or request amendments to shipping calculations which may come out incorrectly.


Non-Continental U.S. & International Orders:

All International & non-continental orders require prior communications with us prior to placing an order.  Once we are are comfortable with the all the terms for an international order, we will enable a special Checkout Page for your purchase.  Shipping options may be limited in certain countries and eliminates shipping insurance. Please use our contact form to inquire about International purchases, prior to attempting to place an order.  We want to make sure that you are happy with the arrangements & costs.

Southwest Saddlery is not responsible for shipping related destination charges - including, but not limited to customs clearance charges at the destination location. 

Southwest Saddlery will add insurance costs to our international shipping costs - only upon customer request.  International Saddle shipping to Europe is $75 uninsured.  Shipping to Canada is $50 uninsured.  Insurance will  roughly double shipping cost.  We are not responsible for non-delivery of uninsured shipments.



Warranty Info:
All Saddles come with a 1 year warranty on breakage of Strap and Stirrup Connectors, and Saddle Trees.  This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the saddle or tree (at our option) for saddles broken under normal riding conditions.  Return shipping must be prepaid by the buyer. 

The company does not warrant any product that has been the subject of misuse, negligence, accident, unauthorized repair, or alteration that, in the judgment of the company, affects the product’s integrity or safety.

Bridles and Reins come with a 1 year warranty for breakage.

* The above warranties are limited to the repair or replacement of any parts found to be defective.   Southwest Saddlery shall have no liability for any form of damages.  Horseback riding can be a hazardous sport and the customer assumes all responsibility for assuring the safety of their equipment prior to use.



Return Policy:

Return Authorization Number required prior to all returns.  You must contact us to receive the RA#.

Shipping Costs are non-refundable. 

Shipping Returns are the customers responsibility and must include insurance for item purchase price and delivery confirmation.  No refunds will be issued for lost or damaged shipments.

Defective Items you must alert us within 2 days of merchandise receipt of all item defects.  Defective items must be returned for evaluation prior to refund or replacement.  Customers may request a refund or same value replacement.   Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. 

Original purchase price will be used to determine refunds when no replacement item is requested.

Should the customer request a replacement, shipping for the replacement will be free of charge.  Superdeals must be paid the difference in current prices when a replacement item of higher value is requested.  Web site pricing at the time of return will determine current value of the returned item when a customer is receiving a higher valued replacement. 

Saddle and leather good returns must be made within 10 days of delivery, postage PREPAID.  We must be notified of your intent to return any item within 7 days of receiving.  Items must be returned in perfect as-sold condition.  This will allow our customers to determine whether their saddle or other horse equipment is suitable for their horse.

Non-defective item returns must be returned in perfect resalable condition. A 5% re-stocking fee will be deducted from customer purchase credit for return of non-defective return items.  This standard 5% re-stocking fee is  necessary to cover transaction processing and material supply costs. A 15-100% re-stocking fee will be deducted from customer purchase credit for return of items which are not in perfect sold-as condition.  Re-stocking return fees will be evaluated based on condition of return.

All Saddle returns must be returned in perfect resalable condition within 10 days of receiving your saddle.   An additional 5% re-stocking fee will be deducted for each additional week if return shipping is delayed past 10 days - no exceptions.  These fees are in addition to the standard 5% restocking fee on non-defective returns.  In short, we do not sell DEMO Saddles.  If you do not like your saddle, please request an RA# and return it immediately in brand new condition.

Treeless Saddle returns will not be treated as defective returns simply because they are different from traditional saddles.  Customers should  review the item description and cautions on their unique differences prior to purchase.

Refused Delivery returns will be refunded minus 10% re-stocking fee.  Customer is responsible for both original and return shipping costs incurred.

PayPal Membership is NOT REQUIRED !

Your financial information is only entered into a Secured PayPal Web page using encrypted communications with your browser.  Your private data is stored only with PayPal which takes every precaution to assure that your data is secure and protected.

Credit Card Refunds:
 
We reserve the right to decline your order and refund your Credit Card transaction immediately via PayPal for any reason including...  1) If we do not have your products to ship to you.  2) If we feel there was in error in our automated shopping system resulting in inaccurate charges.  3) If the shipping address is different from the Credit Card holders personal address and we cannot make positive confirmation via of the order via phone.

We reserve the right to make refunds, greater than 58 days past the date of purchase, for returned or warranted merchandise via payment by check.  [PayPal only allows us 60 days to make electronic refunds and we require 2 days lead time to assure processing.]



OTHER FACTS & TERMS:
Southwest Saddlery reserves the right to refuse or reverse any transactions for whatever reason.

Any disputes with Southwest Saddlery will be resolved in the Jurisdiction of the city of San Diego, CA.  If you know anything about this place, you would know it could takes years to resolve.
